What’s the BIG IDEA of Succos?
Going past the building, the stamping, the painting the lulav, the sweet smelling esrog, the succah sensory bins and lulav and esrog crafts...
When the Jewish people traveled through the desert, Hashem surrounded them with the Clouds of Glory, protecting them and caring for them along the way.
Every year, when we step inside the Succah, we remember those special clouds.
The Succah surrounds us on every side, a big HUG from Hashem.
It reminds us:
Hashem is with us. Hashem surrounds us with His love. Hashem watches over and cares for us wherever we go.
That’s the BIG IDEA of Succos. So when we teach, when we paint and scoop and pour, when we build our succahs with blocks and have our children create their own beautiful lulav and esrog set, remember to teach them the beautiful message of Succah. 🤎
