Don’t only teach the flood. Teach the rainbow.

It’s easy to get caught up in the animals, the rain, the clouds, and the Teivah. But what is the big idea we want our little ones to carry with them?

Hashem’s love.

Hashem gave Noach and his family a safe place, surrounding them with warmth, care, and protection through the storm.

And the rainbow reminds us: Hashem loves us, watches over us, and wants us to do the right thing.

As we explore Parshas Noach in our classrooms, let’s make room for that message. In our storytelling, our conversations, and the way we care for each child.

We want children to leave with more than the details of the story. We want them to feel Hashem’s love and know deep inside that Hashem is ALWAYS watching over them.
